Prisma Health

Prisma Health is a private, nonprofit healthcare system based in Greenville, South Carolina. It is the largest private healthcare provider in the state and the second-largest private company overall. Established in November 2017 through the merger of Palmetto Health and the Greenville Health System, Prisma Health operates 19 acute and specialty hospitals with over 3,100 licensed beds and employs more than 32,000 team members, including nearly 1,900 physicians. The organization serves over 1.6 million patients each year and has expanded its services to East Tennessee. The healthcare system offers a wide range of services, including cancer care, pediatric services, heart and vascular care, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and emergency trauma care. The Greenville Memorial Medical Campus is notable for being a 24-hour Level I Emergency Trauma Center and the only Level 1 Trauma Center for Children in South Carolina. Prisma Health reported $6.4 billion in operating revenue for fiscal year 2024 and is recognized for its commitment to innovation and employee experience, having been listed among America's Most Innovative Companies by Fortune magazine.
